Terms of Service

By accessing or using PoolDefy ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Platform. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform.

The Platform is operated for entertainment purposes. PoolDefy is a social sports prediction platform, not a sportsbook, exchange, or gambling service. Users compete against each other in prediction pools, not against the house.

To use the Platform, you must create an account with a valid email address and password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must not create multiple accounts. Accounts found to be duplicates, fraudulent, or operated by automated means may be suspended or terminated without notice. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

The Platform may require email verification, identity verification, or two-factor authentication as conditions of account access or withdrawals.

Prize pools are funded from user entry fees. 93% of total entry fees form the prize pool distributed to winners. The remaining 7% is retained by the Platform to support operations, payment processing, fraud prevention, customer support, and related business costs.

The allocation of retained funds is at the sole discretion of the Platform and may change with notice. Users are informed of the fee structure before joining any pool.

Pools are settled automatically based on official match results from authorised data providers. Settlement is final once processed. The Platform reserves the right to void, cancel, or refund pools in cases of data errors, match cancellations, abandoned matches, or other extraordinary circumstances.

Users must submit picks before the published lock time. Picks cannot be changed after a pool is locked. Entry fees are non-refundable once a pool is locked, except in the case of pool cancellation by the Platform.

In the event of tied scores, prize payouts are split equally among tied participants in accordance with the pool's payout structure. The Platform employs a settlement delay (configurable, default 15 minutes) after match completion to allow data corrections before finalising results.

Deposits are accepted in USDC on the Polygon network. Each user is assigned a unique deposit address. Users must only send USDC on the Polygon network to their assigned address. Sending other tokens, using other networks, or sending to the wrong address may result in permanent and irrecoverable loss of funds.

Deposits are credited after the required number of blockchain confirmations (currently 128 blocks, approximately 4 minutes). The Platform is not responsible for delays caused by network congestion, blockchain issues, or incorrect transfers by the user.

Minimum deposit amounts apply. Deposits below the minimum threshold may not be credited.

Withdrawals are processed in USDC on the Polygon network. Only cleared, available balances may be withdrawn. Locked balances (committed to active pools), pending deposits, and promotional credits are not eligible for withdrawal.

Withdrawals are subject to automated risk assessment and may require manual review. The Platform may impose minimum and maximum withdrawal limits, processing delays, and identity verification requirements. Withdrawal processing times vary but are typically completed within 24 hours.

The Platform reserves the right to delay or refuse withdrawals where fraud, abuse, or terms violations are suspected.

The Platform may offer referral rewards to eligible users. Referral rewards are derived from the Platform's operational fee (not from the prize pool) and are credited when referred users participate in pools.

Referral rewards may be subject to verification requirements and anti-fraud checks. The Platform reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the referral programme at any time. Abuse of the referral system, including self-referral or farming, will result in forfeiture of rewards and potential account suspension.

Sponsored pools are free to enter and funded by a sponsor. Users may need to enter an access code to join. Winners receive payouts from the sponsored prize pool under the same settlement rules as paid pools.

The Platform makes no representations about the frequency or availability of sponsored pools.

Users who create public pools may be eligible for creator rewards when their pools attract sufficient participation. Creator rewards are derived from the Platform's operational fee and are subject to minimum entrant thresholds.

Users must not:

• Create multiple accounts or use another person's account
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the Platform
• Collude with other users to manipulate pool outcomes
• Exploit bugs, vulnerabilities, or errors in the Platform
• Use the Platform for money laundering or other illegal purposes
• Harass, abuse, or threaten other users
• Circumvent any security measures, rate limits, or access controls
• Provide false information during registration or verification

The Platform employs automated and manual fraud detection systems including but not limited to: duplicate account detection, linked account analysis, IP tracking, deposit-withdrawal pattern monitoring, and referral abuse detection.

The Platform reserves the right to freeze accounts, withhold balances, reverse transactions, or permanently ban users where fraud, abuse, or violations of these terms are identified. Users will be notified of actions taken against their account where reasonably practical.

Users may voluntarily lock their account for a specified period through the self-exclusion feature in account settings. During a self-exclusion period, users cannot join pools, make deposits, or place picks. Self-exclusion cannot be reversed before the chosen period expires.

All content, design, code, trademarks, and intellectual property on the Platform are owned by PoolDefy or its licensors. Users may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any Platform content without prior written consent.

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Platform disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

The Platform shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Platform.

The Platform's total liability to you for any claims arising from these terms or your use of the Platform shall not exceed the amount you have deposited in the 12 months preceding the claim.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless PoolDefy, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Platform, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the Platform shall first be addressed through the Platform's customer support channels. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with applicable laws.

These terms may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the Platform or email. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree with any changes, you must stop using the Platform.

The Platform may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms, suspected fraud, or at its sole discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Legitimate, verified balances may be withdrawn subject to the Platform's withdrawal policies.
